  2. 15 lip 2022 · I’m looking for a performant way to detect mass amounts of players in a radius. First thing that came to mind when I was brainstorming was Roblox’s explosion instance. I had used it before for a similar purpose, and worked fine then. One concern about this method is how efficient it is.

  3. 7 lip 2019 · A small map with not many doors can do a magnitude check which is near-instantaneous. A large map with many doors should only be checking for doors near the player and then checking which of those is the closest.

  5. 5 mar 2020 · if your looking for damage less proportin to distance. have a radious hit detector, if hit, then draw a line from hit part to exploding obgect. compare the distance to the maximum distance and you will get your percentage.

  6. 31 maj 2022 · From what I have found, there is no way to get the render distance of a player in any form. Here are a few screenshots from a demo I made to show that the client will load stuff that only it sees. (Target radius is very low to show the effect)

  7. The DistanceFromCharacter Player function returns the distance between the character's head and the given Vector3 point. It returns 0 if the player has no Player.Character. This is useful when determining the distance between a player and another object or location in game.
