You don't say what part of the USA you are in, but if you are near a "hub" city check the following web sites WOW Airlines, IcelandAir and Norwegian Air. Depending on where you live they may have some good fares. These are low cost airlines, so before you buy, factor in paying for pre reserving seats, luggage, food etc.

Answer 1 of 7: I hate checking airfares every day, very eager to purchase tickets for my trip to Europe in August. I have to take my bicycle (racing) so the airline matters. Need to fly into London or Istanbul and then take a continental flight between them.
The open skies agreement between Europe and the US commences at the end of March this year. It is still to early to know what the effect on airfares wil be. But I suspect that off season airfares should be a lot lower than they have been in recent years and increased competion on routes is expected.
