24 cze 2024 · In this video, Corrina Ferguson demonstrates how to knit a Sawtooth Lace Edging. This lace edging is worked by slipping stitches along one edge on Right Side rows, making it the perfect edging to work and then pick up the slipped stitches to knit a bottom-up shawl.
Traditionally, lace edgings were knitted with cotton or silk. Rayon, modal and bamboo yarns will also look great thanks to the beautiful drape and sheen they all have. If you want to make a delicate lace, use a fine thread. If you plan to make a rustic-looking edging, use a slightly thicker yarn.
