26 lut 2006 · The story is that I just bought a 20 gallon parts washer from Advance auto. For now, I put in some cleaning solvent I found at Harbor Freight that mixes with water (stuff is lousy. it couldn't cut grease if it had a sharp knife!) to test it out.
Parts being cleaned may contain and leave flammable or combustible residue or fluids in the parts washer. Check for solvent fumes to verify nonflammability and non-toxicity.

5 lip 2016 · I want a parts washer with a degreaser/solvent to do the initial cleaning and then spray the part (s) down with brake cleaner for the final clean. I plan on only using the parts washer for internal engine parts.
28 cze 2006 · Parts washing solvent from Tractor Supply, it's $40 a 5 gallon pail, but it is hands down the best for parts cleaning of greasy oily dirty stuff!
2 wrz 2018 · Detail parts get cleaned in kerosene and rinsed in mineral spirits. I keep suspension parts, trans and differential parts separate from internal machine parts because of the sand contamination. For the carburetor, I have a good old fashioned gallon pail of chlorinated solvent.
