20 sie 2010 · Pin the Entredeux to the Fabric. Be sure to trim the entredeux selvage if necessary to match the seam allowance of your garment. The seam allowance for this sleeve is 1/4". The entredeux did not need to be trimmed. But you must measure each entredeux because the selvages can differ.

With the entredeux on top, use a straight stitch (L=2.0) to stitch in the ditch right along the "ladder" of the entredeux (see photo 1). Photo 2. 3. Trim the seam allowance to 1/8 inch.
8 mar 2012 · Use a cotton organdy, batiste, or a similar lightweight fabric, 60-weight cotton thread, cording, and the Wing needle. The cording raises the outer edges of the stitching. If your stitches begin to pucker, place appropriate-weight stabilizer under the fabric strip.
6 sie 2010 · Remove basting thread. Stream press the holes should disappear from the basting thread. Your thread should be the same color as your fabric. As you can tell mine left a residual it your threads match your fabric that will not be seen. As mine was such a screaming color it left damage.
