My AAdvantage account was hacked on 1 June 2019 - I received an email from AA saying "thank you for your flight redemption" for 90,000 miles, with the names of individuals I did not recognize/authorize to access my account.

8 gru 2018 · My AAdvantage account had been compromised. There was no use trying to save it. I needed to create a new AAdvantage account with a different email address (that didn’t resemble my old one) and different security questions. In order to get my miles back, I needed to submit a police report to American Corporate Security.
