11 lip 2020 · I haven't been using my MacBook much lately; the past few times I have used it I noticed instead of defaulting to Google to search, it is routing me to something called Safe Search for Yahoo - almost all of the results are irrelevant to what I searched for.
3 kwi 2020 · “SearchExploreDaemon” will damage your computer. This file was downloaded on an unknown date. Report malware to apple to protect other users. It has 2 options Show in folder and OK. But this pop-up screen wont close. I have tried several times by clicking both Show in folder and OK, but this pop-up screen won't close. What should i do ?

5 gru 2023 · When the system launches a process, it inherits a PPID from its parent process, usually a shell or a system process. Daemons, in most cases, tend to have a PPID of 1, the ID for the init process. To check for the PPID, we can use the ps command: $ ps -eo pid,ppid,cmd | grep process-name.
9 paź 2014 · A daemon is simply a continuously running process. They are, therefore, impossible to identify with one command. Now, if what you want is to know if your particular daemon is running, then take a gander at the pgrep command.
I have done a search on my hard drive and found two files both named derivatives of daemon. The file names are cidaemon with one located in the C:\WINDOWS\system32 and C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache. Help!?
