M&M is a total scam and I cannot recommend miles-and-more to anyone. Go with the cheapest/best travel option, screw the frequent flyer programs. Not worth the hassle and at some point you have all the Rimowa suitcases you can ever need.

Frequent flyer miles, and especially the miles credit cards, are a complete scam. For one, miles usually account for a 5% savings on flight bookings (if you actually use them).
All other airllines where I have frequent flyer accounts (BA, SAS, Etihad, Aeroflot, Aegean etc) allow customers to see 3-5 years of their accounts history while Lufthansa / M&M chose to withhold this information unreasonably from customers.

Miles and More is a scam. This program is a bonus and huge business for Lufthansa but certainly not the customer. I’ve got hundreds of thousands of miles I can never redeem.
