8 mar 2012 · Entredeux means “between two” in French. It is a narrow strip of batiste with tiny square holes down the center of the strip. I love to use it between two seams and when joining lace to fabric. Gives the dainty vintage effect I love! I have purchased entredeux ready-made when necessary.
20 sie 2010 · In this Lesson, the entredeux will be sewn to fabric, in preparation to sewing lace to the sleeve edge. So the entredeux will go between the fabric and the lace (however, the lace will not be attached in this lesson).
6 wrz 2013 · Gathered lace to entredeux: 1. Trim waste fabric from one side of entredeux. 2. Gather lace to desired fullness to fit entredeux strip by pulling the uppermost thread in lace header. Pin strip of gathered lace to ironing board or padded surface right side up. Adjust gathers evenly. 3. Cut a piece of Tiger Tape the length of gathered lace strip.
20 lip 2010 · Use DMC heirloom sewing machine thread when doing this for real and needle size#60, #65 or #70. For the sample I will just be using normal sewing thread so you can see it easy in the photos and it will be a contrasting color for the same reason.
