EVE Swagger Interface (ESI) is an API that can be used by third party applications to interact with data from the EVE game servers. It replaces CREST and the XML API which were shut down on May 8th, 2018.
1 gru 2021 · Account owners generate their own API keys through this page. That page also informs you of your unique numeric user ID, which is used in API calls instead of your username.
This request will use HTTP basic authentication and will use an SSO application client ID as the user and the secret key as the password. The client ID and secret key can be found on the eve developers website, in the browser tab that we suggested to keep open at the end of the SSO Registration process above.
There are new scopes which ESI uses, you can make new developer keys (or alter your existing) to make use of the new scopes. If an ESI endpoint requires authentication, you will see a red exclamation mark on the route description in the swagger UI.

It's based on the OpenAPI Specification, is fully documented and will make your life easier if you choose to develop an application for EVE Online. It's been ramping up for a few months, and is currently serving up to 4.5 million requests a day.
