  1. There are three ways to apply to MSU. Select the option that is right for you, but only submit one application for admission. MSU has no preference for which type of application you submit. The first-year application for fall 2024 is now closed. The application for fall 2025 will open in August.

  4. After you apply. You can track the status of your application by logging in to your account. You will need your applicant email (the email associated with your online application) and your password. If you do not know your password, use our password reset system.

  5. Apply as a first-year student if you are currently in high school (regardless of total college credits completed while in high school) or if you have graduated from high school but haven’t enrolled at a college, university or any other school after high school.
