Travel contribution is calculated using a Travel distance calculator supported up by the European Commission. Distance is calculated between start and end location of the mobility in straight lines from one location to another.

For grant support to travel costs in the Erasmus+ programme, travel distances must be calculated using the distance calculator: Organisational support – lump sum. The university pursuing mobility with partner countries (KA107-2019) has the right to receive a lump sum of EUR 350 for mobility each that is correctly implemented and settled.
The Erasmus+ grant consists of two components: A travel cost allowance. The grant amount varies according to the destination country and is being calculated using the distance calculator provided by the European Commission.
