8 mar 2012 · I use a 110/18 Wing needle, and the stitch I prefer is the entredeux stitch pattern (check in your sewing machine manual to see if your model includes this stitch). If your machine does not have it, try using the venetian, daisy, zigzag, or triple zigzag. The pattern must flow from side to side.

3 lip 2012 · machine stitch–select basic Venetian hemstitch for entredeux (see diagram above). After some practice, you might enjoy trying out some of the other hemstitches available on your machine. presser foot–open toe is best for visibility. But if there is any puckering, a metal foot holds the fabric more firmly and might give better results.
3 cze 2014 · Different machines stitch out differently. Use the settings given as starting points, adjust up or down as needed and use what works best for you. Also, the fabric should almost always be starched and pressed before it is sewn.

20 sie 2010 · Stitch right next to the Entredeux (on the side toward the raw edge). You can stitch this by hand with small Running Stitches or use the sewing machine. I like this method of attaching the entredeux to fabric, so many of the Old Fashioned Baby patterns use this technique.
30 wrz 2013 · 1. Starch entredeux well, and press dry. This is important, because it helps to pre-shrink entredeux. If this step is omitted, when the piece with entredeux stitched into it is washed, entredeux will shrink and pucker fabric.
