  7. United has introduced a “semi Basic Economy” transatlantic fare in conjunction with Lufthansa. It’s a lot less restrictive than the BE fares introduced by Delta/SkyTeam/Virgin and AA/BA/Oneworld. The fares are completely non-refundable and non-changeable though.
