14 lip 2020 · Year-round, the Cinque Terre Express train connects La Spezia to Levanto to the north, stopping in all five towns along the way. The villages are all just minutes apart from one another, and trains frequently run, especially from spring to fall. A one-way ticket between two destinations costs 4 euros (as of May 2020).

The Cinque Terre is crossed by many pathways. The main trail goes along the coast and links all the villages in five hour walk. There is a more difficult trail on the ridge and another trail to the Sanctuaries. The mountains descend abruptly to the sea; a path, called the "Sentiero Azzurro" runs along the coast high above the villages.
You will need to buy the Cinque Terre Pass for hiking the trail. You can get it from the train stations, at tourist information offices or at every start of a trail at each village. The price varies depending on the number of open paths, but expect EUR 5-8 a day, and for an extra EUR 5 you get limited use of the trains as well.
28 sie 2023 · Hiking Cinque Terre is no easy feat! There is a lot of up and town and it is a long trail between all 5 towns. The Sentiero Azzurro is the name of the hiking trail that connects all 5 towns. But note it is not all open at this time. The trails between Riomaggiore – Manarola – Corniglia are closed as of now.
Vernazza - Corniglia Trail. Status: OPEN. Difficulty: medium. Distance: 3.5 km. Duration: 1 hr 30 min. Toll: €7.50 or Cinque Terre Card. Moving on, the trail from Vernazza to Corniglia offers a slightly easier hike, about 3.2 kilometers long.
30 cze 2020 · Levanto is the next town north of the Cinque Terre. Portovenere, to the south, is also a well known Italian tourist resort town. Some visitors choose to base in one of these two towns and make day trips into the Cinque Terre. The coastline between Portovenere and Cinque Terre is actually a UNESCO World Heritage Site .
