3 paź 2020 · This site has a Forgotten Realms map that allows you to calculate distances between two points as the crow flies, or along a specific travel route (road or river) by using waypoints. I compared it to maps in WOTC 5e adventures and it seems to be accurate.

What a lot of people do is that they go on google map, zoom in on some random country, and create their map layout based on that. Then figure out the actual distance between these towns, and then just calculate the travel time based on the travel speeds found in the D&D books.
21 wrz 2020 · One way to measure distance is by linear displacement. @ThomasMarkov's answer does that very well. More practically though, you can also measure distances by travel times. The adventure itself does that: Each town entry in chapter 2 gives travel times to nearby towns.
Has anyone created a compendium of distances between the cities of the Sword Coast for 5E? If someone is at NeverWinter, how long does it take for them to get to Luskan, Bauldr's Gate, Mirabar, etc. Is there a calculation of distance or something that I can use?
