To update the remainder of the route to reflect your current position, tap the next waypoint in your route and tap Direct To in the top left of the Maps Sidebar .
Great Circle Map displays the shortest route between airports and calculates the distance. It draws geodesic flight paths on top of Google maps, so you can create your own route map.
On The Go Map calculates the distance of your route as you create it. Click the distance display to switch between miles and kilometers. Click the terrain icon to show an elevation profile for your route as you create it.
