Cities Skylines on the Steam Deck. Discussion. Haven't seen anyone post about the steam deck so thought I would share my experience. Game is running great on low settings, 15 fps cap, most of the major QOL mods, and about 36 assets. Everything seems to just work, including workshop content and mods.
You should be able to run the base vanilla game without issue, but adding DLCs, Mods, and custom assets will quickly exceed what the steam deck can handle. I'd 100% recommend the Steamdeck for other games (it's awesome), but just not for Cities specifically.
Here are Steam Deck Settings for Cities: Skylines. Set all visual settings to low or none. Set the resolution to 980×600. Change the TDP to 13W. Limit the FPS to 24. Disable all DLC content. Cities Skylines – Steam Deck Performance
Overall I love the game, it’s the dream of every C:S player from like 3 years ago, and I'd recommend it very highly if you liked the first one and you only have a Steam Deck to play it on, especially if you're willing to spend like 30 bucks on a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse.

12 lip 2023 · Cities: Skylines 2 should be a different story. If you take a look at the upcoming sequel's system requirements, you'll see that it should perform decently on the Steam Deck. Given the nature of Cities: Skylines 2's gameplay, you can lock the game at 30 FPS to bump up the graphics quality.
