I've been at Chipping Campden School since 2005 as an English teacher, Head of English and, currently, Assistant Principal, responsible for Teaching and Learning. I have an Associate Qualification from the Teacher Development Trust in CPD Leadership.
I am delighted to welcome you to Chipping Campden School. As Principal, it is my privilege to lead the school and I extend a very warm welcome to students, parents and our friends in the local community and beyond. Our school is indeed a very special place – unlike any other.
Chipping Campden School is a non-selective secondary school and sixth form with academy status located in Chipping Campden, in the English county of Gloucestershire. Founded in c.1440 the school celebrated its 575th birthday in 2015.
Around 1440, two notable schools were founded…ours and Eton. Our first benefactor, John Fereby, left a sum of money to found a school in Chipping Campden. The school opened with about seventy pupils; all were male and of wealthy parents.

Admissions Criteria for Chipping Campden School. Joining The School. Children will be admitted at age 11 without reference to ability, aptitude, race, religion or background. The number of intended admissions for the year commencing 1st September 2023 will be 225.
