4 cze 2021 · My update to 14.6 on XR has created a problem with voice navigation. Apple Maps and Waze no longer give audio for directions. Google maps will give directions as long as Apple Music or Podcast are not playing. So radio and SiriusXM can be used and voice directions come over the speakers.

3 dni temu · this does not work when using CarPlay. press the car voice activation button on steering wheel. i speak for google maps to navigate or search for a location. issue: -as google maps is trying to speak and respond back to me, it cuts off before finishing the first word. -no lists of places were generated and no navigation was started.

Recent migrant from Android Auto here (now CarPlay with iPhone SE 2022, Honda CR-V 2019, USB Connection). I'd like to use the voice command button on my steering wheel to navigate using Google Maps. I haven't yet found a way to accomplish this consistently. Things I've tried: Press Button -> "Navigate to Buffalo": Navigates using Apple Maps.
