25 maj 2021 · I'm replacing the fan switch in a Hampton Bay fan + light combo. I couldn't find a wiring diagram for the specific fan (and capacitor, which has 4 wires) to confirm the correct wiring, but after examining how it was connected, I suspect the switch was wired incorrectly when installed.
