I am very sorry but there is no refund with megabus as per the terms and conditions. I know this may seem harsh, but it is the passangers responsibility to check the itenary before paying for the ticket.
This allows Megabus drivers to board customers in a timely manner avoiding any delays that may impact the departure of the vehicle. No refunds or credits will be given in instances where customers miss the bus; however, reservations can be changed on our website up until 3 hours prior to departure.
7 lis 2023 · Reservations with megabus.com may not be refunded or canceled except where a Megabus Operating Carrier has materially failed in its delivery of the service offered by this site. If reserved seat reservations are not honored but the transportation is still provided, then only the additional cost of a reserved seat price, if any, will be refunded.

Are tickets refundable? No, but Megabus does provide an option for modifying reservations. You can make changes online, but only if it’s done more than 3 hours before your scheduled departure.
If you’re travelling or intend to travel with a megabus ticket purchased with this discount, you must carry your card with you and show it to a megabus driver or official if asked to do so - otherwise your ticket will not be valid.
