The new card forms part of the extensive range of BDO-issued American Express Cards. Cardmembers can redeem their Membership Rewards points from a wide choice of local and international airlines and hotel loyalty programs.
Right now I mainly use BDO’s Diners Club Premiere for miles accumulation (local purchases only, 30 pesos per point) and sticking with AMEX for int’l purchases. Points can be transferred to partner airlines, I mainly use cathay’s Asia Miles because of OneWorld partner airlines like JAL, American and etc.
You are automatically enrolled under the Frequent Traveler Program which lets you convert your Membership Rewards ® points into air miles with any of the 6 Frequent Flyer Program partners or hotel loyalty points for complimentary stays.
Mabuhay Miles members with BDO-issued American Express® Cards may convert their Membership Rewards® Points to Mabuhay Miles. Note: Annual Fee for Frequent Traveler Option applies except for Platinum Card, American Express Platinum Credit Card, and American Express Explorer Credit Card.
