Check-in. To speed up the process, you can use curbside check-in or self-service kiosks at most airports. You can use curbside check-in if you have an electronic ticket (can scan it from your phone). Check-in times. You can check in online or from the app starting 24 hours before and up to 45 minutes before your flight (90 for international).
Begin check-in online or on the app. Select the number of bags to check and pay if needed. Download your boarding pass or print it at home. Scan your boarding pass at the kiosk for Express Bag Tags. Tag your bags and take them to Bag Drop.
Find your airport, then look under 'Airport details' to see if mobile boarding passes are available. If not, you can print a boarding pass before you head to the airport or from any self-service kiosk once you're there.
If you’re an AAdvantage® member, log in to your account and click 'Your trips' from the menu. Use your confirmation code to manage your trip, check in for your flight, get your boarding pass and check bags or when making changes to your flight.
Find your trip on aa.com to check in online, change or cancel your reservation, add special requests, and redeem Trip or Flight Credit.
