As of 8th April, 2022, the list of designated areas subject to the entry ban is as follows. Those who stay in 56 countries/ region below within 14 days prior to the application for landing will continue to be denied to enter Japan.
9 maj 2023 · Notice: All border measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 were lifted on April 29th, 2023. Those who are entering Japan on or after April 29th, 2023, are not be required to present a Valid Vaccination Certificate or a Covid-19 Negative Test Certificate.
All passengers entering Japan with a valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate no longer need to present a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours prior to departure. Those who do not meet vaccination requirements still need to present a negative COVID-19 test result before boarding.
On April 29th, 2023, all border measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 were lifted. Those who are entering Japan on or after April 29th, 2023, will not be required to present a Valid Vaccination Certificate or a Covid-19 Negative Test Certificate.
