Pros: There was an excellent selection of lounges in Rome, with good duty-free shopping and efficient boarding. Seats were comfortable and well-padded.

I paid 1550 euros for my return Business Class ticket from Frankfurt to Miami, with stop-over in London Heathrow, which is an excellent fare for a transatlantic flight. I booked the ticket directly on the official American Airlines website during a sale.
19 mar 2024 · A generous reader offered an expiring systemwide upgrade and the flight had confirmed upgrade space (from the “C” fare bucket), so I booked a $225 economy class ticket and was able to immediately confirm the upgrade. The paid rate was only $525, which wasn’t bad at all, though I was quite thankful to save the money.
