13 cze 2018 · I have a freshly installed Windows 10 machine with a very, very slow responding menu an settings window. The rest of the system and all the programs work fine, but when I click the menu icon, it takes forever to respond.
14 gru 2019 · In the recent weeks I have had numerous calls about user’s rebooting and their computer is “Stuck at Applying Computer Settings”. Multiple Events (6006, 7022, 7017) show it takes from 910 to 1621 seconds to timeout or error.
I see this message when my computer-specific group policy settings are being applied. Some domains have really complicated policies, and may make this process take a long time. Also, some policies may require network access.

13 cze 2016 · As Ahmad1384 said you can try moving it to an OU where no GPOs are applied and see if it’s faster. If that’s not an option you can try running a GPResult report that shows how long each component took - that should help to narrow down the issue. Create a C:\Temp folder. Open an elevated CMD window.
