I took Eva premium economy flight LAX-BKK with a tranfer in Taipei November 2007. It was a pleasant experience and pleased with B777 aircraft. The Thai's non stop for over 17hrs is proprably too long for seating in the air. And the Eva fare is subtantialy cheaper than Thai's airways.

21 gru 2022 · Food and drink. EVA offers a wide choice of pre-booked meals in both economy and Premium, everything from raw vegetarian to kosher. You can also pre-select regular meal choices. I chose a specialist option, the seafood meal, which featured fish in a white sauce with boiled potatoes plus two salads – one with smoked salmon, the other with prawns.
Singapore's PE is fair to middling at best. There are equivalent and better premium economy cabins out there, so it's not worth paying a surcharge for, nor worth adding a transit and additional flight. Eva has a well regarded premium economy offering. Of course anything is better than economy.
