Refunds. 10.1 Refundable Tickets. (a) Some Tickets are sold at discounted fares and may be partly or completely non-refundable if you cancel your booking. If you need flexibility, make sure you pick a Ticket type which suits your needs.

Refunds should only be sent to Virgin Atlantic to process if: Tickets are over their 12 months validity; Coupon status on the ticket prevents you from processing in your GDS; Virgin Atlantic has re-issued the travel documents; therefore, coupons are under airline control.

Virgin Points used to apply the discount will not be refunded, except in the event that VAA’s flight programme or operations are altered, suspended, cut-back or cancelled. In those circumstances we will endeavour to accommodate you in accordance with applicable law.
If your flight was cancelled or the schedule change is more than 3 hours, you can claim a refund of the unused part or parts of your journey. Make sure to detail in the comment box that it’s a refund of the unused part(s) due flight disruption.
