Check on remember password. If you would like your Villages.net account to be your default email make sure you check the box. Click “Next” You can configure your account as POP or IMAP. Incoming Mail Server: mail.thevillages.net. Outgoing Mail Server: mail.thevillages.net. Leave “Log on using clear text authentication marked”
You will have to enter the incoming mail and outgoing mail server information. Incoming Mail Server is: mail.thevillages.net. Outgoing Mail Server is: mail.thevillages.net. On the outgoing server settings you will need to check “Requires Sign in or Password” for authentication.
You can change you password by logging on to your account, clicking on “User Info”, and filling out the form provided.
LOG ON TO WWW.THEVILLAGES.NET User Name_____ Password_____ Type in the “User Login” and “Password” you wrote down on your application. Remember, the password is Case Sensitive. Once logged on, you will see the icons: Home, Email, Golf, Events, News, User Information, & Help.
In the Email Address box, enter your Email Address. In the Full Name box, enter your name. In the Incoming Mail Server box, enter: mail.thevillages.net. In the User Name box, enter your login name. In the Password box, enter your password.
Sign in to one of the following sites:
UserName: Your full email address (username@thevillages.net). Password: Your password. Note that the User Name and Password fields in Outgoing Mail Server are required even though it says "Optional" on the iPad.
