Welcome to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Online Driver Record Request System. Through this service, Texas Driver License Holders may request their own Driver Record online and print the Record at the end of a successful order. You may also choose to receive the Driver Record by email.
Driver Records can only be ordered online or by mail. Please visit How to Order a Driver Record for further information and instructions. You may also request your driver record by mail by completing and mailing the Application for Copy of Driver Record (DR-1) along with the appropriate fee.

Certified Abstracts of Driving Record (Type AR): Certified abstract of complete driving record of a license holder.
Type 2 (3-year Driving History): Name, DOB, license status, list of accidents and violations in record within past 3-year period. Type 2A (Certified 3-year Driving History): Certified version of Type 2. (Not acceptable for Defensive Driving Course.)
It’s a complete driving abstract of public records of any driver holding a Texas-issued driver’s license. It’s also a certified copy. A copy costs $20 ($22 if online).
