If Yahoo deemed it important, they would provide their own Outlook desktop addin (just like Google does) to sync their contact/calendar folders - whether that option was provided free or as a paid option.

12 kwi 2022 · #2 - To sync the calendar (and contacts) across devices, you have only 2 options a) use an Exchange account (including a free Outlook.com) to store your contact / calendar info OR b) use a 3rd party sync tool if you can find one that sync's Yahoo with Outlook desktop.
8 lut 2012 · I use Outlook for Mac, and I am able to sync my Outlook calendar to iCal without any problems using the Sync Services settings within Outlook. However, I cannot seem to sync my Outlook contacts with the Mac Address Book app.
To do so, navigate to your account within Settings. There, tap on Sync Contacts. Two-way contact export is supported for Microsoft 365, Outlook.com and hybrid modern authentication for on-premises mailboxes. Two-way support ensures that any new contacts you add or existing contacts you edit will be synced between your device and Outlook accounts.
