The theatre features natural history IMAX films (2D and 3D) which enhance the New England Aquarium’s mandate during aquarium operating hours, and the best of Hollywood with IMAX DMR (2D and 3D) films in the evening.
Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond.
I try to see whatever is showing at this IMAX theater whenever I visit the NEAQ. The films are always fascinating and visually stunning with a great message. Ticket and concession prices are low - especially compared to regular movie theaters.
20 cze 2019 · The theater is located adjacent to the New England Aquarium, in Central Wharf. Parking can be expensive, so it’s best to use public transit. The theater is accessible via the MBTA subway (the T), which has a stop nearby on State Street.
