Quest Guides. Quests are activities you can complete in RuneScape for great rewards, such as gold, items or experience in a skill. Many people consider Quests to be the most fun thing to do in RuneScape. All quest rewards include Quest Points.
When you get a challenge scroll, you need to figure out the answer, return to whoever gave you the challenge and give them your answer by speaking to them again. Below is a list of possible challenges you will be given by various NPC's.
Challenges: These clues are often simple math equations or a task telling you to count certain objects in RuneScape. Coordinates: When you get a coordinates clue, it will say something like "04 degrees, 13 minutes North, 12 degrees, 45 minutes East".
Challenge scrolls are logical problems posed to the player by an NPC. They appear in medium and hard clues in Treasure Trails and have two steps to it: first the player has to find the right NPC to speak to (when they get a cryptic or anagram clue), and then they have to solve the riddle, to advance along their trail.
Get yourself the Infernal Puzzle Box and unlock at least up until Tier 3 for no adrenaline drain out of combat; Complete the City of Senntisten Quest for the Exsanguinate, Incite Fear and Animate Dead Spells; Acquire a Ring of vigour (With the Extinction Quest you can make it a passive effect)
Completing quests also grants experience, making them a great starting point for leveling up skills. Find quests by looking for a blue star inside a compass icon on the map. Hover over these icons to see quest requirements.
