The motto, written in Inuktitut syllabary, is Nunavut Sannginivut (ᓄᓇᕗᑦ ᓴᙱᓂᕗᑦ, or, Our Land, Our Strength). The letters patent are quite unique, having been presented in English, French, Inuktitut , and Inuinnaqtun .
