The Royal Air Force Museum Midlands, located in Cosford in Shropshire, is a free museum dedicated to the history of aviation and the Royal Air Force in particular. The museum is part of the Royal Air Force Museum, a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Ministry of Defence and also a registered charity. [2]
Take off to the Royal Air Force Museum Midlands and enjoy a great day out for all the family. Admission is free, simply book your arrival time online and then it's chocks away as you explore the Museum’s vast collection of aircraft, vehicles, artefacts, and the fascinating story of the RAF!
Housed in wartime hangars and in the National Cold War Exhibition, there is a huge display of aircraft and exhibits to explore plus an outdoor aviation themed playground for our younger visitors to explore and a whole host of inter-active experiences. We look forward to welcoming you. Duration: More than 3 hours.
