First, you can measure the distance between two locations using the Google Maps directions feature. This calculates the distance along streets. Second, you can measure distance between any two points using the Google Maps measure distance feature.
To measure the distance between two points: On your computer, open Google Maps. Right click on your starting point. Select Measure distance. To create a path to measure, click anywhere on the map. To add another point, click anywhere on the map. At the bottom, you can find the total distance in miles (mi) and kilometers (km).
You can calculate the length of a path, running route, fence, border, or the perimeter of any object that appears on a google map. The distance calculator will then display a measurerment of the length in feet, meters, miles and kilometers.
