It's been ramping up for a few months, and is currently serving up to 4.5 million requests a day.

EVE Online's SSO uses what's known as the Authorization Code Grant OAuth 2 authorization flow (the RFC for this can be found here). A typical flow would function like this: Log in to EVE Online's SSO using a URL with specific GET parameters.
