26 maj 2024 · Tertium pushing in on the lower knob. It may be a combination stitch adjustment in reverse. That looks like a model 158.xxx. If you tip the machine up and look at the frontage of the base, there may be a small plaque attached to the base. It’s probably 158. Followed by a few more numbers.
17 lip 2020 · On your sewing machine, it is possible to adjust the needle position to regulate the needle if it is not the same for the straight stitch and the zig-zag stitch. Normally this is an adjustment with the screw to align the needle in the correct position.
Sounds like the machine’s reverse button may be stuck in the ‘pressed’ position. Squirt some WD-40 or similar release oil on the button’s shaft and internals, to free it up.

28 mar 2016 · The entredeux stitch is 62. It does not show on the front of the machine. It is shown on the 4x6 card made to sit on top of the machine which shows extra stitches possible on this machine. The same information is shown on the last page of the manual and is titled stitch-pattern summary.
1 paź 2013 · My Kenmore 385.17324 no longer stitches in reverse. The lever presses down and springs back up, but the reverse action does not engage. After removing the bottom of the machine and visually inspecting it there was no reverse action.
