10 lut 2024 · So far: Day 1. - Get in to Airbnb at Riomaggiore around 2:30p. - Hike to Santuario di nostra signora di montenero up the hill. - Get wine/dinner in town. - See Castello di Riomaggiore. Day 2. - Hike Blue Path up to Montessaro (8a-4p) (My understanding is part of this is "closed" but we can still make it to the end? Can anyone confirm?)

The offices of the Cinque Terre national park (there's one in each town) are a great resource for learning about your options. Don't let the vertical terrain intimidate you. On a recent trip, I smartly took advantage of the shuttle buses that connect the towns to higher trailheads: I rode up, soaking up the scenery, then hiked down.
