14 lip 2020 · Year-round, the Cinque Terre Express train connects La Spezia to Levanto to the north, stopping in all five towns along the way. The villages are all just minutes apart from one another, and trains frequently run, especially from spring to fall. A one-way ticket between two destinations costs 4 euros (as of May 2020).
All other trails are free! The Cinque Terre Express trains are running every 20 minutes between the five villages. You can also enjoy this scenic coastline by taking the ferry and hop on and off where you like. Monterosso. Monterosso is the largest of the five towns and has the most amenities. Beach-lovers should definitely stay here.
The five Cinque Terre villages are situated in northern Italy on the Mediterranean Sea, just 3 hours by train from Milan, Pisa and Florence. The closest airports are Genoa, Pisa and Milan Malpensa. There are shuttle buses at the airports that takes you to the central station in each city and from there you can take an Intercity train directly to Cinque Terre.
28 sie 2023 · Hiking Cinque Terre is no easy feat! There is a lot of up and town and it is a long trail between all 5 towns. The Sentiero Azzurro is the name of the hiking trail that connects all 5 towns. But note it is not all open at this time. The trails between Riomaggiore – Manarola – Corniglia are closed as of now.
Distance: 3.5 km. Duration: 1 hr 30 min. Toll: €7.50 or Cinque Terre Card. Moving on, the trail from Vernazza to Corniglia offers a slightly easier hike, about 3.2 kilometers long. With its stunning sea views and enchanting wooded sections, this route ends in the only village in the Cinque Terre without a seaport: Corniglia. Suggestions:

Manarola to Corniglia: 3 km / Easy / 45 min – 1 hour. Corniglia to Vernazza: 4 km / Moderate / 1.5 hours.
