26 mar 2016 · If you just use PM and AM, Excel assumes that is the same day. Since PM comes after AM the result of B1 - A1 will be a negative number. You can use =Max(A1, B1) - Min(A1, B1) to always get the ellapsed time.
10 lut 2003 · #1. Hi Folk.. Having a bit of a problem displaying calculated times using the distance speed formula. To calculate a time, I use (distance*60)/speed and get the resultant time in minute but how can I format the display to show it in hours:mins:secs. eg.. for 60mins, I'd like it to display 01:00:00. for 90min, I'd like it to display 01:30:00.
