I'm renovating my bath and am interested in a walk-in shower area (i.e. no doors). How can I calculate a "safe" distance from the shower head for the door area? Are there design guidelines for distance (and perhaps direction) that water is expected to splash?
28 lut 2024 · For a two-person walk-in shower, the ideal dimensions start at about 60 inches (5 feet) wide by 36 inches (3 feet) deep at a minimum. For a more comfortable experience, going up to 72 inches (6 feet) wide or more is advisable. This width allows two people to move freely without feeling cramped.
For a walk-in shower, we recommend a shower enclosure of at least 85cm. This ensures easy entry and exit and is ideal for smaller bathrooms or making the best use of space. For larger bathrooms, consider double-sided walk-in showers or even U-shaped configurations, with wall lengths of up to 180cm.
