Tioga State Forest derives its name from the Seneca phrase “meeting of two rivers.” It covers 161,890 acres in Bradford County and Tioga County. The forest district hosts the Pine Creek Gorge, also known as the “Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania.
Frances Slocum State Park. The modern campground has electric, non-electric, walk-to, pet-friendly, and ADA accessible campsites. Walk-to sites are a short walk into the forest from the designated parking area. A portion of the campground is dedicated for organized group tenting.
