9 cze 2024 · The National Museum of the US Air Force is a treasure worth an entire day for anyone with the energy to take it all in. We wimped out at 6 hours, but what a great 6 hours! The aircraft are fabulous and so well displayed within the context of their place in history.
Said to be the oldest and largest military aviation museum in the world, it features more than 400 aerospace vehicles and missiles along with thousands of personal artifacts, photographs and documents. The museum showcases the early days of military flight to today's war on terrorism.
