That’s a significant improvement from the regular economy seats on this plane which only have a 31-inch pitch and 16.2 to 17.2 inches of width. Seat 11C on an American Airlines Boeing 787-9.
Just booked a flight to Rome with Premium Economy seats in August, on the Boeing 787-800. All of the two-seater rows on the sides were filled, and all of row 6 (first row in PE) is completely filled as well.

3 dni temu · American’s Main Cabin seats are traditional economy seats, typically tight with limited legroom, while Premium Economy seats are more reminiscent of domestic first class seats, with extra legroom, more recline, and a footrest.

That leaves the back half of the aircraft with 72 economy seats — half of which are extra legroom “Main Cabin Extra” seats.
