4 dni temu · A scam email impersonating Tesco. A dodgy email impersonating Tesco claims to offer a £500 gift card. The email leads to a malicious survey website which asks you to answer a few questions before attempting to obtain your personal and financial information.
To do this, lookup the phone number on the carrier lookup and look at the results. If the results says that the number belongs to a residential carrier (ex. AT&T/"Cingular Wireless", Verizon Wireless, Metro PCS, Rogers, etc.), DO NOT call the number.

A couple weeks ago I had a coworker fall victim to an over the phone gift card scam and I do not believe there were any repercussions for her. Through all of our trainings it always says something like the employee will face consequences leading up to and including termination. Why hasn’t this happened?
