8 maj 2024 · Curious if anybody has booked on a route that is not yet operating and noticed that it shows no mileage information. I booked SKG-AMS and noticed that the confirmation email doesn't mention how many miles I would receive. I decided to check the calculator and it says that the route doesn't exist.
17 maj 2024 · The math looks like this: $175 (cost of a paid ticket) / 8,000 SkyMiles = 2.18 cents per point. To us, this is an excellent use of points as we — per our monthly points and miles valuation — value Delta SkyMiles at 1.2 cents per point at a minimum. This is almost twice our assigned value, so we think it’s a great deal!

For example, Miles & More lets you redeem anywhere upwards of 3000 miles for a flight, and pay for the remainder of the cost with money. Flying Blue lets you cover 25 percent of award flights with money, and 25 percent of regular tickets with miles.
