Are you using McAfee? McAfee will change your default search engine to yahoo. If you are stop immediately and uninstall it. If you need a antivirus try Malware Bites, Kaspersky, Bitdefender or Eset NOD32.
So I have tried for an hour and a half to see fix this issue using things from this subreddit but no luck. Can I just not get rid of the yahoo redirect?
I have tried shutting off my chrome extensions, such as ublock, adblock and autoplaystopper, but that didn't help at all. i'm very frustrated as doing a google search for this issue doesn't really show any help as they seem to be answering different types of issues with yahoo.
