I started my Cinque Terre hike from Biassa (a hamlet between La Spezia and Riomaggiore) to Monterosso al Mare. I hiked all the five villages in one day.

While the Cinque Terre are accessible by car, the narrow, winding roads and limited parking options make traveling by train a much more convenient choice.
